Seminario Virtual de la Unidad Académica del IIMAS en el estado de Yucatán
In the present talk, anasymptotic method to deal with elastic waves in layered structures having locally perturbed boundary will be introduced. The method will be applied to generalized continuum (Cosserat) and Magneto-Electro-Elastic (MEE) structure. These results have potential application in rotational seismology, geo-engineering and smart devices like biosensors, actuators.
